APPROACH
Dr. Whitworth's wholistic therapeutic approach places the focus on the child within the family system, viewing parents as having substantial influence over the health and well-being of their child. Thus, sessions are consultative in nature as Dr. Whitworth coaches parents as the day-to-day caregivers and primary resource for their children as they develop and grow.
Treatment typically involves a minimum of 3-6 sessions over a one-to-two month period, with follow up sessions and supports as needed. Sessions balance individual time, families, parent-only consults, joint sibling session, and parent-child sessions.
